The Brillharts had another great week!
This week at my work, we kicked off "Get Healthy West Georgia" which is going to be a three year initiative to fight obesity in West Georgia. I am really hoping to be able to help play a part in this huge challenge!
Also this weekend I volunteered at a family weekend for an obesity camp for children ages 9-14. It was an awesome experience to see families coming together to really try to make a change in their lives for the better. I was away from yesterday morning to this afternoon. This was the first night I have been away from Noah since he was born. I was able to spend the night at a new friend's house who I met through the camp. She is an RD as well and it is amazing how much we have in common and had so many laughs last night over some glasses of wine! =)
Darcy stayed home on Friday so it was so nice spending time as a family.
Quentin had a game yesterday and they played well. Darcy coached and had the challenge of coaching only 4 kids instead of having 6 players. He managed that and had fun keeping the boys while I was gone.
Tonight, Quentin and Noah played on their new water mat and had a blast!
Tomorrow is the zoo with a girlfriend and her kids and then Quentin's final soccer game and party.
The Brillharts never slow down!

Wonderful news!
The Brillhart family had a great week.
Quentin scored another goal on Monday night and was so very excited!
Easy work week for me.
Very exciting news for Darcy that he got a promotion at work! He has worked so very hard to get to where he is and I am so proud of him.
Here are some pictures to share. We are never short for these. Our friends, the Gricuses, came over yesterday. Noah is 3 months older than Pia but is a giant compared to her!

6 months goes by so quickly!
Little Noah turned 6 months old this week! Gosh how time is flying! He is changing every day.
Quentin had an exciting event yesterday. He made a goal into his team's goal for the first time! He had made 2 goals prior into the other team's goal but was very excited yesterday that he actually made it into the right goal! He has made so much improvement in the 1 1/2 months he has been playing.

Such an awesome surprise!
This week was a great one! My dad had road tripped on a whim down to the Final Four in New Orleans from Kansas. I proposed that since he was fairly close to us to come on up to Georgia for Easter. He agreed and surprised Quentin Wednesday night. The doorbell rang and we had Quentin go get it and he screamed from excitement "Pa Pa!". We have had a wonderful week with him here. What a blessing to have my mom here a couple weeks ago and now my dad here! Here are some pictures to share.

Enjoying time with Grandma!
My mom made it to town Monday night and she has been spoiling the boys. Her time is going way too fast. My work week was crazy busy with very busy days, evening training for Camp Strong4Life a childhood obesity camp that I will be helping with, and finished the week with a day long nutrition conference in Athens, GA.
I think she really enjoyed watching Quentin's soccer game this morning and she is currently upstairs cuddling with little Noah. We wish that family lived closer but I think it helps us appreciate our time when they visit. She was also here to witness Noah try cereal for the first time. As you can see he did not like it!

Quentin and his buddy Nathan
Grandma time!

So many great events in one week!
This past week was sooooo busy but with alot of great things going on.
Quentin had his second soccer game on Monday and made a goal! Well... it was in the other team's goal but so exciting!
Monday-Tuesday we were preparing the house for getting new carpet and laminate floors. The company was going to move all the furniture but we still had to do so much to move breakables, clean out closets. The biggest project was that Darcy had to drain the 50 gallon aquarium. He spent all Tuesday night doing that and has spent alot of the day today putting it all back together. We hope all fish survived.
Weds-Thursday the house was in shambles with getting the floors done. They finally finished at 10:45 p.m. on Thursday so that was an adventure. Noah and Quentin were wide awake the entire evening and Quentin said " I love this new carpet!". It is amazing what a nice pad and higher quality carpet can do! We also had laminate put in the foyer, dining room, and kitchen. It has given the first floor an entirely new look. Will post pictures when the house is actually in order.
Weds was National Registered Dietitian Day so we had a nice celebration at work. It was so nice to get together for lunch with all of the other RD's since we hardly all get to see one another since I am solely in the outpatient setting now.
Tomorrow is going to be a busy one. We are taking Quentin to our friend Brad and Bridget's house so they can take him to his soccer game while Darcy, Noah, and I go to the church to teach Baptism class. We then get the join the Corbetts for pizza and watching March Madness. Noah has his GI appointment on Monday so we will see what comes of that. Molasses seems to be doing the trick. =)
My mom is flying in Monday night for a week. We are so excited to have her!
Noah turned 5 months on Sunday. He is growing and changing all the time. Below are some pics to share.
